(Guardian)

Warrior / Guardian allows for some variety when it comes to decided whether to use a one-handed or two-handed weapon, and whether or not it needs to be edged. While this is good for allowing player freedom, this lack of specialization when it comes to damage causes this combo to suffer. This is one of the weaker options in group PvE for Warrior, but it does at least provide some support for a solo player.

Main Ways of Build[ | ]

Strength, Dexterity, and Stamina are all good options here. Strength for damage, Dexterity for accuracy, and Stamina for health. The skills don't gain a boost from Intelligence nor Wisdom, which doesn't make it very worth for gearing up with, but at the same time several elite skills require mana. Without an increased mana pool, this requires some mana management to use certain skills.

It first becomes clear how varied this combo is by examining the elite skills. Probing Attack likes to be used (and is also boosted) to cause Vulnerable to use Stifle, and also leads to Open Flank for Weakened, which allows for the use of Tremor. However, Revival Slash likes the use of Slash. Both Open Flank and Slash would lead one to thing to invest in Thunder or Tactical Attack, but one requires one-handed weapons, and the other requires a two-handed axe or sword. Now, of course one could invest in Slash without going into Tactical Attack, or in Open Flank without Thunder, but this leads to less development compared to most other combos.

Now, that's not to say Warrior / Druid has no good options. It does have a cleanse effect through Remove Magic. Revival Slash gives Recover a greater benefit, and Recovery of Life boosts HP with Whirlwind. Guardian's Pledge does the same thing, while also increasing critical resistance, and the skill Resistance compliments Berserk to avoid damage. But, in the end, it's hard to really sell Warrior / Druid as an option, for either group PvE or PvP.

Skill war dru70 Irresistible Force 70 When you use Stifle and a target is hit, there is a chance you will achieve an Irresistible Force effect. This effect will increase your inflicted damage and lasts for 8 seconds.

(After the effect has ended it cannot be triggered again for 10 seconds.)
