Spoiler Alert! We have some more information about how to perform this quest but recognize you might want to try it on your own before we tell you the secret...

Four NPCs scattered around the world can start this quest: Wishing Well Guide, Combined Will phase only, by the Wishing Well in Varanas Central Plaza in Silverspring Mistrotle by the fountain in Dalanis Central Plaza in Thunderhoof Hills Farshlan in Obsidian Stronghold Crafting Square in Dust Devil Canyon Sloborn Steelhorn in Fireboot Underground Fortress I think I found the unlocks for the Wishing Well. The first is an Internal Flag that is unlocked when you speak with one of the 4 quest givers, but it does not always unlock properly. For me, it unlocked when I talked to a second quest-giver. The second gotcha is the coin tossing part can only be done during the Gold phase of the Wishing Well event. This is when the power is growing. The third is, it does not tell you to seek out Karmus in the Hall of the Eye of Wisdom to start the next quest. From there it seems to progress evenly. IF you see Karmus at the Wishing Well instead of the Wishing Well Guide, the event is not currently in the correct phase. --Bludwyng (talk) 10:30, 15 October 2018 (UTC) Combined Will phase: You may choose whether to make a pledge of coin or not. You will receive a 30-minute Blessing of the Wishing Fountain. This Blessing varies as to the strength of it's effect depending on how many others have donated coin. Find Karmus in the Hall of the Eye of Wisdom during the Combined Will phase to start the quest series proper with [10] Great Mage Letters.
