To find this mob in-game, use BACKSPACE to open the World Search window, then enter Transmutated Maggot in the Search field and click "Search". Remember, the field is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown.
This mob is a member of the group collectively known as Kulech Myrmex.
A Word About Common Drops: Every mob in the game has a chance to drop Sigils, Health Potions, Mana Potions, Ammunition, Runes and Festival Items, as well as a few rarer items such as Amulet of Light. For this reason, we discourage listing them in the Known Drops section. See Common Drop Table for more information. Exception: All mobs always drop the same Production Rune and we will list it. Also see Sarlo (Zone Loot Table) for more information about common drops in this zone.

This monster has a Monster Compendium card, Card - Transmutated Maggot, that can be earned by killing it and looting the corpse. You can right-click the card to copy it into your Monster Compendium. Do the same to remove the card from your Monster Compendium.
Keeping this card in your Monster Compendium will grant a stat boost of +4 Magical Defense so long as this card remains in your book.
When they are down to 50% of their HP they will start casting "Deep Ichor". This is their escape skill. it has a 4 second casting time. If you have not killed it before the skill completes the Maggot will vanish (and you lose the quest update).
The Zurhidon Disguise does not expire, but there are some rules. If you are caught in an AE, the Zurhidon Disguise will vanish! Also, leaving Sarlo for any reason (such as attending Siege War, or entering your Guild Castle or Residence, or entering Belathis Fortress) will also remove the Zurhidon Disguise! Some players believe this is a bug, an exploit, and a ban-able offense, but we asked Korin (the GM) about this and was assured that while it may be slightly more powerful than was intended, it is not an exploit as it is limited to Sarlo. |
