Details
I had the strangest dream. I was conscious, but all around me was profoundly quiet. When I looked down, I realized "I" wasn't myself. It was as if my consciousness had somehow been imbued in another body. Within the dream, "I" found myself on a bright, wide platform. It seemed to be the sacred ground of the dragon. "I" was awaiting the details of an important mission.
Then the Light Dragon appeared before "me" with a most extraordinary sword. He said that I must carry the sword with me on my journey, as the sword contained a portion of the Light Dragon's power within it. "I" went over and took the sword...At that moment the swords name flashed in my mind.

I believe that the "I" of my dream was my ancestor, Karebas Kalume. That's to say, what I dreamed was no ordinary dream, but a memory left to me by my ancestor. If Ilansar really does contain a portion of Bankelemos the Light Dragon's power, perhaps if I could master the power held within the sword I could restore Light Dragon to his former vitality. But...Do I have the ability to weld that sword...? Is this my fate, my great mission? If so, I greet the challenge with open arms, even if it means bodily ruin. |
