Summary

Young adventurer, would you like to hear the story of the Order of Dark Glory?

Details

40 years ago, the Steel Commerce Association built a stronghold in Dust Devil Canyon, that used to be a small lakeside village for the miners and protective mercenaries. Only when conflict with Tempest Height occurred were the defenses built. The victory forced Tempest Height to the other side of the canyon, so the leader of the Steel Association built a sturdy wall around the settlement. This was to commemorate the victory as well as increase the defense, especially since chances of winning against barbarians in a physical fight is slim.

Using the wall as a starting point, the stronghold slowly came to be. Because the Steel Commerce Association constantly needed to defend against Barbarians and protect the path to Ystra Highlands and the stronghold, many talented mercenaries were trained. Then these mercenaries left the stronghold to provide their skills and training as service to other countries, which became a standard for mercenaries. I still remember when it was for mining, but this stronghold has become known as the place where mercenaries gather.

And the Steel Commerce Association thought it was good, so they changed their name to the Order of Dark Glory and named their base the Obsidian Stronghold. They started to recruit and integrate mercenaries, and even formally trained them. This also quickly built up the Obsidian Stronghold. Later, aircraft technology was introduced to solve the traffic problems. Soon the Obsidian Stronghold became a huge city in the center of the Candara continent, and its name is now synonymous with a neutral armed force.
