Details
We've finally found the source of that irregular elemental energy!
No matter what, we've got to find a way to shut it down. If not, the elemental imbalance in this region is only going to get worse.
Trying to destroy the equipment outright might result in a large-scale elemental disaster. I recommend that we first try to find the Furnace Control Valve to shut the thing down.
I'll go see if there's some way to gain entrance to the inner sanctum of the temple. I'll leave things here to you.

So the reason Patkelos [Fire Dragon King] couldn't free himself from Kolanda [Kolanda's] capture was because his power was constantly being drained. Kolanda was refining Patkelos [Fire Dragon King] elemental energy into a form he could use to create runes. PLAYERNAME, in the process of shutting down the Elemental Furnace to restore element balance to the region, you also released Patkelos [Fire Dragon King] from his captivity!
