This monster has a Monster Compendium card,  Card - Taylin Fishbone, that can be earned by killing it and looting the corpse. You can right-click the card to copy it into your Monster Compendium. Do the same to remove the card from your Monster Compendium.

Keeping this card in your Monster Compendium will grant a stat boost of +3 Intelligence so long as this card remains in your book.

There are 4 campfires in Woodland of Qilana. Travel between them and kill every Valley Dwarf you see until Taylin Fishbone spawns (roughly midpoint of the campfires). Once spawned, he walks around a bit.
