How do I get to Splitwater Coast the first time?: Talk to Daris in the Varanas Class Hall to start [93] Ominous Forebodings and be transported to Port Shard. Warning! Before you leave this zone, be sure to speak to Snoop the Stubborn at the portal on the north side of Brinewind Castle!

Recipes purchasable for Production professions in this zone are in the 93 to 95 range, with some merchants only selling part of the available recipes. Gathering profession recipes are levels 81 to 96.

Recipe Merchants are in Port Shard (Mining, Woodcutting, Alchemy, Armorcrafting, Blacksmithing, and Cooking), Brinewind Castle (Herbalism, Carpentry, and Tailoring), South Willow Manor (Cooking, Carpentry, and Herbalism), and Mudwater (Woodcutting).
Cooking Supplies can be bought in Port Shard and South Willow Manor}. Alchemy Supplies are only sold in Port Shard.
All Crafting Stations are available in Port Shard except Tailoring Tools which can be found in Brinewind Castle.

As this is a coastal zone, there are places where you cannot go. If you stray outside coastal waters, there will be a DANGER ZONE timer that appears. If the red bar runs out you will drown! Be sure to get back to shallower water quickly!
