The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.

Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:

  • This page is for reporting wiki issues. Please post discussions on the talk page.
  • Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
  • Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding {{delete}} to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion.
  • Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
  • Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.
  • For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center.

In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. If a user must be reported here, please use {{user}}, preferably as the topic subject/headline.

updating website[]

this website needs to be updated. most items are ok, but some things are 3 years old.

As the newest Sysop here, let me just say that this is exactly what I am assaulting head-on. I have redesigned nearly all the templates and created converters to map the old Quest, Monster and Item templates to use mine. I have created Linker templates that colorize the links uniformly by the type of information. I have imported all of the Quest Series pages I created at ZAM and, starting with where I was playing at the time (Tergothen Bay), I am in the process of updating them to use all of the tools I have created here. --Bludwyng (talk) 20:49, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
Wow, I cannot believe I have been working on this site for 3 years, now. A lot has happened/improved but there is much more to do! --Bludwyng (talk) 10:55, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Harvestors![]

Xpatlevel

XP at Each Harvest Level

I recently added fields to the Object template to hold the XP earned when you harvest a resource at each level, but I could use your help. First, I did this when my newest character was 20 Herbalism, 25 Woodcutting (Oak Wood), and 32 Mining (Silver Ore), so I lack data for the earlier levels. All we need is, as you level up, to write down how much XP you earned for each harvest. xpatlevel is the XP at minlevel, xpatlevel2 is the XP at minlevel+1, and so on. If you need more than xpatlevel6 let me know and I will expand it the same way, so the next highest will be xpatlevel7, etc. Do not worry if you missed a level, the template does not care and will show only what it knows. If you need to copy-paste the new line on the object page you are looking at, see Template:Object. --Bludwyng (talk) 09:48, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Oh, one more thing. If you complete one Object page (fill in all or most of the XP gains) you can copy that line and just paste it to the pages of the other 2 nodes for that Minimum Level tier. For instance, I finished Silver Ore, then just copied that line to Holly Wood and Barsaleaf. Also, you might add the amounts to the master table at Category:Gathering Skills#Gathering XP per Level! --Bludwyng (talk) 11:48, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Be aware! The temporary effects of Nimble Harvest and Rapid Harvest include a Gathering XP boost, so when this effect happens you need to wait 'til it fades (3m) so you can get accurate XP numbers! --Bludwyng (talk) 20:44, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
