Although it is possible to travel the river from north to south (downstream) this is not advised as there is at least one precipitous fall that will surely kill you. Upstream travel is not possible. There is a dry fall of a couple of a hundred feet at 57, 52. We do not know how the water from the upper river gets to the lower river, but it is not via this fall. We assume it filters through the ground and bubbles out somewhere below.
