Details
Need: 10 Key Objectives
Find Phiksi Yates at Inferno Gardens after the task is completed.
|
Each time you receive this quest the tasks, and the temporary skills you are granted, will change. Your Temp Skill toolbar will also show a passive regional effect that changes independent of your task. For an explanation of these regional effects, see the Inferno Gardens page.
Completing the quest 6 times in a row will earn an increased experience reward.
Each phase can be identified by a named Effect that appears in your Effect Box.
There are 10 different tasks. You must complete 8 of them as part of the unlock for Gloombright Castle.
NOTE: You must have the quest Waiting Game when you do this or the 8 repetitions will not count and you will have to do another 8! There is no need to count the completions. When you finish the 8th one, Jinners Zuken will shout Everyone, the barriers have been weakened! Get Ready! now is the time! Use the Rune Catalyst!
NOTE: If the general area phase changes while you are working on this, the order of the Alt-key assignments to the temporary skills may change! If you see any Target error. error messages, this is probably why!
During some festivals the Spirit Gathering Ceremony Disciples, Spirit Cores, and Ogest, will stop respawning. Because of this, certain tasks cannot be completed when this happens. |
Return to Nature[ | ]
Sometimes there may be ways to send things not produced by nature back to nature.
| |
Attack him as little as possible. Just tap him to gain his attention, push him back with Fury of the Holy Stone, slap him with The Heart of Water, and heal yourself. Repeat 4 times. If your rhythm falters he may lose some or all of his Strange Rust state but just keep to the plan and he will fall.
It is advised to get him when he is not engaged in a fight with Disciples versus Adventurers', as the Disciples will attack you and interrupt your skills. Be aware of the current Phase! Do NOT attack him during Fragile Goods unless you enjoy being one-shotted! |
Fury of the Elves[ | ]
The angry elves have thought of a way to use the Power of Nature to launch a targeted attack on these terrible enemies...
| |
Stand in the exact center to place all 4 Spirit Gathering Ceremony Disciples in range. Target the next one while casting and cast on the Spirit Core the moment you finish the last disciple. Of course, as soon as the Spirit Core is gone all 4 disciples will attack you. |
Unplanned Result[ | ]
If the result of every action is thought through too carefully, then the action sometimes becomes insignificant. Sometimes impulse and rashness can cause extra developments...
| |
Guided Casting simply refers to the 5-second casting time of this skill. Just target a Spirit Core, standing within the ceremonial circle, and use Samantha's Anger. Do this 10 times. The Disciples will ignore you unless you attack one, and the Spirit Core reappears quickly (~10 seconds). You may need to step away between kills or the Spirit Core may not respawn. This is really easy, until you run into a Copper Gardener. |
Great Success from a Little Moss[ | ]
If this little moss is grown with the utmost care, perhaps the attitudes of that thorny Copper Gardener will change...
| |
He moves fast and can get out of range quickly. Try to anticipate where he is walking to and get there first. |
Medic[ | ]
Doctor! Doctor! Somebody is injured here!!
| |
It is simply a race to get to the Dying Adventurers before it is too late. Even so, you must TRY to heal them first. Only then, if needed, can you apply the Coup-de-gras and release them. |
Treating a Disease[ | ]
With enough reports, you may earn better advantages.
| |
You must be standing IN the circle, directly under the Spirit Core. Use Phase Explosion, then pound the core. You have 15 seconds. As soon as it "dies", hit the Theft Structure. |
Competent Leader[ | ]
The glory and achievements of a leader are achieved by rewarding the hard work of his team members.
| |
Just engage a disciple, then blast the Sprit Core for the 3 objectives, then mop up the Spirit Gathering Ceremony Disciples. Always kill the Warlock first, then the Instructor, then Mage, and finally, Acolyte. When you kill the Spirit Core, you need to be INSIDE the circle or it will not update. |
The Frankness of the Eye of Wisdom[ | ]
The use of simple methods and magic can be the most efficient way to achieve something.
| |
You do not HAVE to use the False Illusion if you are capable of killing all 4 safely and quickly. |
Member of the Attacking Party[ | ]
Join the attacking party to launch the attack on the garden. Your task is to "look after" everyone.
| |
The "Attacking Party" are the four Adventurers that start by the camp and march all the way to Gloombright Castle (assuming they live that long. They are a Wise Adventurer (Priest), Stalwart Adventurer (Fighter), Brainy Adventurer (Mage), and a Spunky Adventurer (Rogue). The Wise Adventurer is usually the last to die.
You do not want to deliver a fatal blow but it is okay if you help a little. This may be the most difficult task, as the Attacking Team NPCs do not do very much damage and some of the disciples can heal, so this takes forever to finish. Also, the Copper Gardener will inevitably wander into the fight and the NPC heroes are simply no match for him. If you see him add, just run and wait it out. The best way to get this done is to let the Gardener kill them, and just watch his target while killing any dogs that get close, then kill the adventurer with Close your eyes, brother. when he is at or below 10% health before he can. |
The Biggest Helpers[ | ]
You don't have to be the most important person in your party to achieve your goal.
| |
You just need to get Ogest down to 49% and he will run away! Only Melee classes should stand in his Melee Range. All others should keep him as far away as possible. His Ranged Attacks are weak, but his Physical Attacks are strong. |
