Main Way of Playing[ | ]
The Priest / Warrior has a melee DPS role that trades healing for Physical Attack and Physical Defense. Its elite skills fit the aesthetic of self-sustainability in conjunction with high critical damage and successive stun effects. This combination prioritizes Strength and Stamina; more specifically, Physical Attack and Physical Defense to survive in melee combat. It prefers to avoid the use of wands, due to their low physical damage, and instead encourages the use of an axe or mace with a shield, or a staff.
Key abilities for the Priest / Warrior are Wave Armor, Amplified Attack, Berserk, and Defensive Formation.

Tips and Tricks[ | ]
- Battle Monk Stance doesn't always have to be active. In fact, talent points can easily be spent on healing abilities for this very reason, with one's second gear set serving as healing equipment to cater to groups.
- Priest / Warrior has excellent survivability simply because of its access to self-healing, both from its priest kit and from elite skills. This makes it a decent choice for players who will find themselves soloing more often than not.
- Like all Priests, at level 50, the player gets access to a Fairy. Fire Fairy strongly complements groups loaded with melee DPS, giving Priest / Warrior a specialized niche role in group content.
- Switching to Warrior / Priest can give the player an edge in some aspects of PvP content.
Notes[ | ]
The Priest / Warrior completely changes the intended role of the class. Be aware that while this combination is drastically different from others, after Runes of Magic being active for eleven years, this class combination as a DPS slot in PvE content is a hard sell outside of guilds.
