I collected some information about the monsters that used to haunt this place, and compared them with the crystal sample.  Our situation does not look good.<br><br>

During previous Eye of Wisdom raids, there was one monster that was able to resist and fisgh back against our magic.  This monster was called Pirlanok.  Ultimately we had to rely upon the hero Logar to defeat him.<br><br>

However, no one saw that battle, and we received no further information on [[Logar]] or [[Pirlanok Servant|Pirlanok]].  We only know that the battle took place within the [[The Dead Tree Cave|<span style="color:green;">Dead Tree Cave</span>]], and I... I believe that fact that this magic force is in the very same cave cannot be a coincidence.<br><br>

If we will have to deal with [[Pirlanok Servant|Pirlanok]], relying solely on my magic will not be enough... But if some of the magical items used in the previous monster raids have been left behind, maybe we can use them...<br><br>

Ahh, I have an idea!  [[Logar|<span style="color:green;">Logar</span>]]'s [[Agnes|<span style="color:blue;">Agnes</span>]] is very familiar with this topic, perhaps she will know of any items that might still be left!<br><br>

Can you go see her?  I must begin preparing some things immediately.

The talisman for defeating the demon...ah, what was his name...Larpinook?  Pizzletook?  Oh, right...Pirlanok.<br><br>

In order to deal with Pirlanok, the mages of the Eye of Wisdom made a special magic item, but it was no talisman.  No, it was a weapon.<br><br>
