One-Hand Weapon Master is one of two weapon masteries available to Warriors as a primary only skill. It focuses on increasing the Warrior's damage with one-handed swords, axes, and hammers.

Most Warrior builds favor two-handed weapons over one-handed ones. As such, this skill benefits tanking warriors (helping build threat while using a shield) and Warrior / Rogues (who dual-wield weapons and thus use one-handed weapons almost exclusively). Any other build gets more from 2-H Weapon Master or gets nothing from either, as is the case with most Warrior / Mage builds.
Some may notice that One-Hand Weapon Master grants a slightly higher damage bonus than 2-Hand Weapon Master. This is due to one-handed weapons doing less DPS than two-handed weapons of comparable level.
