Beginning with Tergothen Bay, mobs may have a ball of energy visible below, around or above their heads. This is the visual clue that they have a buff on them that makes them harder than the unmarked mobs around them. The color of the ball tells you what effect is on the mob. There is also an Effect icon on the mob. Just in case you do not notice the energy ball or the icon, there is a sound that all these enhanced mobs make.

Only mobs that display one of these four effects have a chance to drop a Mysterious Bag.

Double Your "Dailies", Double Your Drops! - On all, or very nearly all, of the Daily and Public quests that require Quest Drops from Mobs, if you have both repeatable quests in your Quest Journal at the same time the mobs will drop Double the items, cutting your harvesting time in half! This may be considered a bug or exploit by some, but I like to call it a feature.

Note: They were a bit slow to see it, but it seems the devs may have realized that they created an easy road and moved to stop it. Starting in Splitwater Coast very few NPCs give both a Daily and Public quest so the Double Drops are much fewer.

Moorland Codex (level 97 Rare)

Collective sets that mostly drop in and around (Normal and Hard mode):

Transformed Recipes for these sets are dropped by Mysterious Bags in Moorlands of Farsitan and Tasuq. They are also sold by Howard Ykes [Black Codex Recipe Merchant] and Raphael Nicks [Black Codex Recipe Merchant] in Sandhor.

There are a few items in this set that have both a crafted Transformed and Dropped version, such as Grand Master of the Dead's Soulcatcher Wand Grand Master of the Dead's Soulcatcher Wand (Staff) and Transformed Grand Master of the Dead's Soulcatcher Wand Transformed Grand Master of the Dead's Soulcatcher Wand (Wand). In such cases the Dropped version and Crafted version will share a name but may be different types or have different stats.

There is no point in trying to list the sources for specific slots. Each boss will drop 4-6 pieces from different sets spread across the 3 Collective sets affected. A better idea is to concentrate on each Boss' drop list so you can search for the part you lack and then run down which boss drops it.

The non-Transformed weapons are also sold by Kniedha Mesyar [Black Codex] at Gray Citadel in Tasuq.

There are 3 items in this zone that, should you acquire them, can be given to an NPC in exchange for a one-time reward of 14 MILLION XP. There is also an NPC, Julia Jackson, that needs help finding her way home to Akson Manor.

All 4 of these actions reward 14 million XP, 1.4 million TP, and 332,542Gold . Each task can only be done once per character.

Stay on the roads! Rough terrain will destroy the cart! All mobs, even non-aggressive ones, will attack the cart on sight. Keep them clear and keep moving. Watch for the wolf's head icon on your effects bar. If it reaches 30 stacks you fail. Delivery happens when you approach Ernhi Marthat. You do not need to talk to him except to collect your reward.

Julia Jackson - on the bank of the river, just south of the path to Bottomless Mines

  • This young lady needs to be escorted home, but she does not say where her home is.
  • Her home is Akson Manor. Take her to the potion maker, Eypomi Lammoh. Speak to Eypomi and that should complete the escort.
    • Move in short bursts and kill anything that gets near, and she should stay with you. If you stand in one place a wolf's head icon (no label) appears on your effects bar. If this effect's stack reaches 30 her nervousness overcomes her and she returns to where she started. The counter on the wolf's head does not increase while you are fighting, just make sure no monster ever targets Julia. Non-aggressive mobs will not attack her.

According to DyGy on The RoM Wiki Discord server, returning Miss Julia Jackson home correctly rewards the same 14 million XP, plus gold and TP, as the other two Easter Egg quests. (once only!)
