This mob is a member of the group collectively known as Hammertooth Goblins.

This monster has a Monster Compendium card, 
Card - Marclaw Hammertooth, that can be earned by killing it and looting the corpse. You can right-click the card to copy it into your Monster Compendium. Do the same to remove the card from your Monster Compendium.
Keeping this card in your Monster Compendium will grant a stat boost of +2 Intelligence so long as this card remains in your book.
Found at the end of Hammertooth Valley, southwest of the Rumpus Mine entrance.
