(Earth Disciple)
Mage / Warden gives the Mage a stronger Earth spell kit, while also dramatically reducing spellcasting time, sometimes to instant. A decent option for use in group PvE and in PvP, this combination has great "reversal" options through the use of Elves' Favor and Earth Core Barrier, turning spells that would otherwise have a long cast time into one second or less; Flame, for example, can be spammed repeatedly while Earth Core Barrier is in effect for tremendous damage.
Intelligence is the most important attribute here for the spell damage, but a larger mana pool through Wisdom and more health from Stamina. This combo greatly appreciates the extra damage of Eruption from both Fireball and Flame.
Main Ways of Build[ | ]
Similar to the Mage / Druid build, Mage / Warden appreciates its instant-cast spells. The difference, however, is that this combination has a little more hatred for other spellcasters in PvP through Absence, which also has quite some benefit for bosses in group PvE thanks to Follower's Ground, and arguably better emergency survival thanks to Elven Amulet and Earth Core Barrier.
It should be noted that Earth Surge has a lesser chance of hitting compared to other spells, but when it hits while Earth Marking is up, it hits.
