Best route from Varanas to Korris: Take Snoop Portal to Splitwater Coast at Brinewind Castle (10,000 ), then to Moorlands of Farsitan at Heroica Castle (6,000 ), and to Tasuq. Then finally take the Transport Stone to Korris.

To get to Korris you must complete the final 2 quests in The Spirits of Despair for Tasuq (Lifting the Vitality Spell and Korris Calling) to unlock the portal located at the Gray Citadel (this portal delivers you to Citadel Outpost but the return portal is located at Icefog Camp).

The Housemaid for this zone is located at Icefog Camp (hiding inside a tent).
