This is good. We have stopped the Kobold plan to poison the lake. But this is only a temporary strategy – sooner or later they will find out what we have done.

According to our latest information, the recent activities of the Kobolds have all been orchestrated by some sort of chieftain they call Kipos. To be able to call together and organize so many Kobolds, and develop a tactic as underhanded as poisoning the lake... Well, he must have more wisdom and charisma than any other Kobold.

From what we can gather, Kipos should be somewhere along the northernmost side of the lake.

From what I have seen of you, I am certain you can help us deal a final blow to these monsters. The people of Varanas are counting on you! But you must be cautious against so many; you'd best find two or three brave companions to take with you!
