Urge the mage, Aost, to craft the Strong Safety Rope.

Details

It's great to see you, but there is something else I need for you to do. The researchers here often forget that they are working in a dangerous environment. They are focused so much on their work that when they discover something, they forget everything else...

I asked Aost to use the Bundle of Fibers, sent to him previously, to craft some Strong Safety Ropes, but he hasn't responded yet. Can I ask you to go and remind him about this? He is staying at the main camp in the northwest.

If you obtain a Strong Safety Rope give it to Caruso.

Spoiler Alert! We have some more information about how to perform this quest but recognize you might want to try it on your own before we tell you the secret...
Talk to Aost. When offered two responses, one that ends with "but Habsig...", choose the second one. Aost will refer to Habsig as a child, but he will lower the defensive spell on the ropes so that you may take one (without growing long ears and a round fluffy tail.)
