A ferocious murderer in life, this creature was buried in the Abbey cemetery after his death. After the demon witch Ancalon later seized the Abbey and imbued the murderer with her powers, this ghoul became her most trusted of servants.

He is the guardian of the great door which leads to the second part of the Abbey. The Duke has to be killed in order for the door to open and let adventurers pass. But he won't show himself easily: only when all the Necromages which guard the magic circles in the first part of the abbey will die he'll appear in all its might to block the entrance.
