This mob is a member of the group collectively known as Tempest Height Barbarians.

This monster has a Monster Compendium card, 
Card - Tempest Height Beast Tamer, that can be earned by killing it and looting the corpse. You can right-click the card to copy it into your Monster Compendium. Do the same to remove the card from your Monster Compendium.
Keeping this card in your Monster Compendium will grant a stat boost of +3 Dexterity so long as this card remains in your book.
Tempest Height Beast Tamers will be accompanied by a Red Valley Hyena. The Hyena will vanish when the Tempest Height Beast Tamer dies.
