I'm sure you are more adept in battle than I am. I, like Deputy Captain Fanger, don't have a knack for battle.
My good luck is the only reason I was able to hide out here. Those demons in the wilderness are tricky. If it's just one, I have a chance to win, but what if another one appears just as I'm about to beat the first one? That is why my food reserves are depleting.
I need to analyze these runes again. During this time, don't you think it would be more productive if you helped me find some food rather than just standing there staring at me? I've seen a kind of Devouring Bloom on the Quodate Plains. I think you can take the body of this demon and dry it out to save it. That way if you have to go somewhere else I can use them for a few days.
