This is a Rhodes family secret. It relates to the second eldest daughter of the manor.
Just mentioning the young lady makes me want to cry. I never could have guessed that such a delicate lady would oppose her grandfather, drug me, escape the manor. And all for a boy! It made the lord so angry that he gave orders for nobody to speak of this incident, and he announced to outsiders that she had died. We were even prevented from trying to find her!
It's already been so long... Originally the lord put all his hopes on young Rikon, so the news of Rikon's death was a huge blow.
I think it is time to find her. She is the only family the lord has left. She can't wander around out there for her whole life can she?
Not long ago I learned that her best friend Dessigon Diz returned from Varanas. She is our best hope for finding the young lady.
I have a letter here. Please take it to her. I hope she will have information regarding the young lady. It is all up to you! I hope you will be able to bring her back to us.

I didn't finish what she entrusted me with before she "died of illness." The night before she brought a treasure box to me and asked me to take it to a designated place and give it to a pirate in blue. But since I was in such a terrible emotional state at that time... and I was scared, I didn't complete this task that she had entrusted me with. Just after Vivian Rhodes' sudden death, her most favored maid, Laranus, went missing. Everything was in confusion, so in the chaos, I made my escape. |
