Crafting (Quest Series)

This quest series will show you all of the quests involved in the progression of your crafting profession, grouped by profession.

Exchange Managers give quests for gathering. As you progress it is never a bad idea to swing by Varanas Lower City West in Varanas City, visit the Wells' clan and pick up the quests for the materials you expect to be Gathering. The quests are all level 1 and give low XP and Gold, but each rewards a  Basic Ore Resource Package,  Basic Wood Resource Package or  Basic Herb Resource Package which can give you material (such as  Green Thistle Bundle), guild resources (such as  Dauntless Core, Fortune Grass and  Dread Essence) or special materials. The minimum skill required to harvest the resource is shown in parentheses. Although these quests are not marked as Daily, they cannot be re-accepted for 1 day after completion.

Remember, there are limits to how many skills may be raised to each rank. To break these limits you will need a  Crafting Skill Expansion Ticket for each skill you wish to raise above it's limit.

In Coast of Opportunity you do not have to do a quest to raise your qualifications. Just hail the appropriate Instructor at Hending Harbor (Gathering) or Heffner Camp (Production) and tell them you want to raise your qualifications. Limitations still apply. Instructors are also found here and there scattered throughout Coast of Opportunity and Xaviera.

Production

As with all of the similar Crafting Advancement Quests, you are not required to produce the required item yourself. You can steal it off a dead Orc, buy it on the Auction House, or beg it from a friend. So long as the required item is in your inventory when you report back to your Instructor.
