Quest Tags

Tags are used to group related quests together to make them easier to locate in the Quest Journal. You may also want to view Category:Questbooks.

We may never get every single quest updated with the new tag= and questbook= fields, and the massive quantity of quests in Public Outdoor zones are the largest part of this. All Open-World zones have a questbook of znn-zonename, where nn is the zoneid number, and the zonename is some recognizable version of the zone's proper name (usually without spaces). For example, Category:z23-Chrysalia (Quest Tag). Only zones from Thunderhoof Hills to Chassizz follow this naming convention for the tags, with prior zones being in UI+Sys or none.

Most dungeon instances from Dungeon of Dalanis to Sardo Castle are named similarly, but in the form I:nn-zonename.

Note: All tags, like 99% of the records in the database, are a number, not a name. RoM-Welten displays the number following the name, such as "z23-Chrysalia (129)". In this example 23 is the zone id number, Chrysalia is the zone name, and 129 is the tag id number.
