Disambiguation

A Disambiguation page is used to list multiple pages in the Wiki that have similar or identical titles, making it easier to find what you are looking for if you happen to find the wrong page on the first try.

This is accomplished using 2 templated tags:

• Template:dab - {{dab|name_of_the_disambiguation_page}} should be placed at the very top of each of the pages with similar names and will display a link to the disambiguation page.
• Template:disambig - {{disambig}} should be placed at the bottom of any disambiguation page to display a graphic identifying the nature of the page and linking the page to Category:Disambiguation or one of it's sub-categories.

We have recently realized that for simple articles that have only 2 or 3 appearances of the same title, such as an Item, a quest, and a mob, we may as well just put the templates all on one page with a Template:disambig at the top. If it is a longer list or same or related titles, the Template:disambig should be on it's own page, with all the related sub-pages disambiguated with a suffix (such as (Item), (Skill), (Quest), (Mob), etc).
