Each cape DOES invoke a skill when "used".  Aoth Valiance Cape - Call of Rage - Increases Rage to full Aoth Mysticism Cape - Magic Amplification - Increases Magical Damage Aoth Sacred Defense Cape - Blessing of the Gods - Increases Healing Power Increase Rate Aoth Blade Cape - Shadow Flash - Increases Dodge Rate  Aoth Salvation Cape -  Magic Rampart - Lowers magical and physical damage received by 20% Aoth Strike Cape - Ultimate Shot - Increases Damage Aoth Nature Cape - Nature's Power - Increases your Nature's Power Aoth Forest Cape - Forest Spirit - Increases Damage and Magical Damage The weapons (Shields and Talisman) are also available in level 50 and level 62 (dropped by Nightmare Androlier) versions but also do not contribute to set bonuses.
