Leeching Winter Spiders are different from Ystra Winter Spiders. In addition to having all of their abilities, they also have the troublesome "Leech Attack" ability, surely making any adventurer's life difficult. Kings of these species are one of the most feared monsters amongst adventurers.

This monster has a Monster Compendium card,  Card - Anselve, that can be earned by killing it and looting the corpse. You can right-click the card to copy it into your Monster Compendium. Do the same to remove the card from your Monster Compendium.

Keeping this card in your Monster Compendium will grant a stat boost of +2 Wisdom so long as this card remains in your book.

This boss is an "SiP", which means Spawns in Place. In other words, it has a random chance to spawn in place of the mob specified (Ystra Winter Spiders area). This boss also has 707,959 HP. There's a 0.01% chance that it spawns after killing a Ystra Winter Spider. So normally about 10,000 spiders need to be killed to let Anselve spawn.
