The Howling Mountains and the Eye of Wisdom[ | ]
In the beginning, Varanas chose us to explore and develop this area, but at the time strange demons and weird creatures filled the land, and performed bizarre sacrificial rituals in the The Barrow every night. The name Howling Mountains was chosen because of the howling that rose to the sky during these rituals.
We were ready to fight the demons when we came here to settle, but the Eye of Wisdom was willing to help us clear the region using magic instead. The campaign to get rid of the remaining creatures soon began, and by the end, there were almost none left. Afterwards, we promptly began to establish towns in the region.
From the recent presence of the Kobolds and other occurrences, we are starting to realize that the campaign was not as successful as we had thought. But at least it has provided for a quiet and safe home for the past ten years.
