Potion Brewing time is 10 seconds but you need to move when it reaches less than 8.0 seconds remaining. You may fail before you reach the 2 second mark, but you must try. You can collect more than 10 of Zeezee Grass, Extra Thick Ostrich Eggshells, but you cannot carry more than 10 Golden Scales at a time. You are going to get many Potions of Failure and we do NOT know of any use for them. You only need ONE Potion of Success.
FYI: Completion removes all the materials from your inventory, so you will have to go gather fresh materials after each completion.
Krayden (on Discord) says this is totally random. Sometimes he gets it in ONE try, other times it takes him 30 or more. DYGY says you have to move left or right, not backwards, to do this. NOTE: It appears to be impossible to succeed if you are currently transformed.

Daily Quests are repeatable up to a total (for all Daily Quests) of 10 times per day. The count can be reset to zero by purchasing and using a Daily Quest Ticket from the Item Shop (for 39 ($1.16)† ) or from any Phirius Merchant (for 780 ).
In all other zones they do not reward XP, TP or Gold, only Public Event Points. In all other aspects they are the same as a Daily Quest (except for the infinitely repeatable part and the rewards). Public Event Points contribute towards the completion of Regional Quest objectives, which in turn rewards a number of Energy of Justice commensurate with your amount of participation in the Regional event.
