Your RoM Team

Thunderhoof Hills (55-57)[ | ]

In the south of Zandorya lie the verdant Thunderhoof Hills which are surrounded by an imposing mountain range. The region is characterized by its green meadows, rushing waterfalls and wild rivers. Several settlements are nestled in this picturesque landscape as well as the Valley of Glory where mammoth effigies of ancient war heroes rise up to the sky as reminders of past glorious battles. These were the battles in which the legendary King Kalume and his mounted allies once fought against demons and after whom the region was named. Kalume recruited elves, dwarves and other creatures alongside humans such as the rhinoceros-like Kalo people. In recognition of their support Kalume divided up the land amongst these peoples so that the land of Thunderhoof Hills is still diversely populated today.

Expedition 60![ | ]

It’ll be time to get up to level 60 in the coming 10 weeks!

Show everybody what you’re made of and take part!

But of course, we’ll be there to help you along the way: we’ll get you to your goal safely and quickly with our training plan!

Week 1: this weekend you can get 50% more XP (from Friday, 16/04/10 at 18:00 CET/GMT+1 until Sunday, 18/04/10 at 23:59 CET/GMT+1).

From now on your training plain will be updated every week. Always remember to take a look and get your character into shape!

New Collectible Card System[ | ]

Starting with Patch 3.0.0, the cards which slain monsters leave behind will provide specific attribute points alongside the usual monster information which will improve the basic stats of your character. At the moment there are around 800 different monsters in the so-called ‘Monster Compendium’. – A great opportunity to make your character stronger!

Instance Difficulty Levels[ | ]

With Patch 3.0.0 you’ll be able to adjust the difficulty level of the dungeons ‘Hall of Survivors’ and ‘Heart of the Ocean’ between ‘normal’ and ‘easy’. The choice of difficulty will also have an effect on the quality of the item drops in that players that choose the difficulty level of ‘normal’ will receive more valuable loot.

New Interfaces: Party Recruitment and Public Encounters[ | ]

The new Party Recruitment Interface makes looking for groups and guild members easier. The recruitment interface will appear just by clicking on the icon next to your character display where you can enter the desired requirements for finding the ideal member for an instance, a quest or a battle field.

You will also be able to use a new interface which will appear on your screen whenever you approach a public encounter. Current information on the encounter can be found here such as score, remaining time etc.

Guild Castle Features[ | ]

New upgrades for guild castles will be available with Patch 3.0.0. Buildings within the castle can be upgraded to higher levels and stone fortifications can be constructed.

Since constructing guild castles obviously requires resources new guild quests are also being introduced (available from Guild Level 11).

Guild Mini Games[ | ]

Spirit Warrior[ | ]

You have to kill as many evil monstrous creatures as possible within the set time period of 15 minutes on an enclosed training ground. Whoever survives the two waves of attacks will find themselves face-to-face with a fierce boss opponent. Players will be rewarded for successfully completing the ‘Spirit Warrior’ trial with honor points which can be exchanged for valuable armor parts with special NPCs in the Obsidian Stronghold.

Needle Drill[ | ]

The mini game ‘Needle Drill’ transports players into a quadratic obstacle course consisting of 25 fields. Steel spike rise randomly from the floor which remorselessly drain players of their HP. The more needles you manage to avoid in this mini game, the more honor points you can collect.

Call of the Horns[ | ]

Guild members will be launched into battle in the third new mini game‚ ‘Call of the Horns’ where they must choose which side they would like to fight on, the weaker but good-natured ‘White Furs’ or the evil but stronger ‘Black Horns’ who are fighting to the death. After deciding which team you’d like to serve on all hell will break loose and whoever destroys the opposing team’s flag within 10 minutes wins.

The Spring Festival[ | ]

With Patch 3.0.0 lots of exciting quests will be awaiting you in Varanas and the Obsidian Stronghold for the Spring Festival. Find the lost Wabbits, collect Rainbow Eggs, or fight dastardly Goblins.
